The Monona Public Library is 
proud to announce that the Library is a recipient of a 2010 Madison Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Foundation for the Cure Grant of $5,000 which will fund more materials on Breast Cancer treatment and prevention for our newly established Health & Wellness Collection.
We will include topics on nutrition, wellness, and cancer prevention and disease management and we also have funds to host several programs this year to generate interest in the topic and in our new health collection! In the discussion and debate about health insurance in this country, we are proud that our library is playing an active role in keeping the public informed with the best information about health issues that we can provide. The Library will announce our upcoming programs soon.
